If you’re you the kind of person who doesn’t want or need the latest must have smartphone and you just want something very simple, then your prayers have been answered!
This week in the UK, the world’s cheapest mobile phone went on sale costing customers the very reasonable price of £1.
No, that’s not a typo – ONE POUND STERLING!
Made by mobile firm, Alcatel – the One Touch 232 comes with a 1.5 inch colour screen and comes with a built in radio – not too shabby!
The 232 doesn’t have the latest social networking apps – perfect if you want to get away from the world of social media and instant connectivity, it just makes and receives calls and can send text messages.
What it does have is a torch, games, an alarm clock, a calculator, a calendar and can be used hands-free.
It weighs a mere 60 grams and measures 106 by 46 by 14 mm.
But, there is a small catch – the phone must be bought with £10 credit, hardly the worst catch!
So, if you just want a plain and simple phone that only makes and receive calls and text message, then this one is for you!
