Some may find it mind boggling as to why Apple have been a bit slow off the mark to unveil a low cost iPhone, as there’s clearly a gap in the market there for them to tap into, but as they say – better late than never!
The budget device, supposedly made of plastic, is expected to hit stores in the coming months.
The much anticipated smartphone is reported to cost around €250 and is targeting young, middle class consumers.
It’s rumoured that the design will be very similar to the more expensive version of the device but that it will be thicker than the iPhone 5 to make its plastic body more durable and resilient.
It has also been suggested, that the new budget phone may come in a variety of colours.
It will be interesting to see how this latest smartphone to come out of Apple HQ does, but either way – we’re looking forward getting our hands on this budget iPhone and getting a closer look!
